i have one living with me, you'd be amazed by how they think they are actually Amazons. she has complete air superiority (when her cage is open) and the cats in our house are terrified of the little bird.
What? Even if you don't think they feel and express emotion, you must concede that the arrangement of features on their face conveys information to other animals. Ears pinned and hissing == a facial expression.
I am right now reading a book called "That Quail, Robert" (published in 1966) about a couple who find a quail egg that hatches and they adopt the bird which becomes, in essence, their child. Several scenes in the book are similar to this video, with the bird annoying a cat or dog and the animals, allowing it. It's a great short read.
Now I've seen everything. I parrot preening a cat. Unreal. Somehow I think that sans owner with camera the cat would have a snack but that still is pretty cool.
From what chapter in The Book of Ignorance is that line again? Kills me every time.
Well they don't have em. I know you told all your friends (all two of them) that your cat smiles at you, but even tho your cat feels alot of pity for you, it won't be able to express it through it's facial features.

Love the cat's facial expression.
Cats don't have facial expressions
And when it stares at the bird, it has a very "Say 'what' one more time, motherfucker!" expression.
