The Baker event was the fifth-ever nuclear bomb, detonated 90 feet (27 m) underwater on 25 July 1946. Over 90 ships were arranged around the explosion to test its effects.
At the time, I thought it reminded me of the Outcast soundtrack. I guess that's for good reason. The composer is Lennie Moore, the track is Deus Vult from "Trinity and Beyond" and you can get it at http://www.lenniemoore.com/sounds.html .
William Stromberg and Moscow Symphony Orchestra. That clip is from Visual Concept Entertainment's documentary Trinity and Beyond, aka The Atomic Bomb Movie. They have also couple other documentaries around same subject. http://www.vce.com/about.html
Anyone know where that music originates from?
