This performance brings together the brilliance of Sondheim and theatre for me. From the musical, "Company," this is my favorite recording of "Being Alive." I need to get this on dvd already!

Dean Jones of Disney fame (Love Bug, etc.) has an amazing voice, as shown in this video from the creation of the original cast album. Dean was having marital problems and hated NYC - he quit the show after two weeks. However, his beautiful voice was captured here.
