Ethics - What's your idea of doing the right thing?
she couldn't even string two words together, typical.

Paul Jay Speaks about The Real News Mission
We'll never know if we're being lied to for our own best interests. At least in the short term.
Personally, i'd prefer to know the truth.

James Randi debunks Dowsing
that guy made a living out of dowsing, what a dick.
reminds me of how thousands of people were employed until the '80s as psychological analyzers based on people's application form handwriting. if people bother to do some scientific testing before-hand they'd know that they're blowing their money on these people for no reason.

I know what they found: oil.

i wouldn't be surprised, i'm suspicious about why they spend so much money on these missions. seems likely those in power are just attempting to gain more power.

James Randi debunks Maureen Flynn (1991)
that last psychologist, Sue Blackmore, did an excellent TEDtalk about Memes and Temes. I'm surprised at her saying she doesn't understand it, she must mean in a strictly scientific way and not what is obvious to skepticism.

IQ Disparity with Brian Cox
imagine space-time as a thin and flexible sheet of rubber, and Earth makes a deep depression into that sheet.
Any movement on that sheet creates ripples in the fabric of space-time.

NASA Astronaut Claims Aliens Exist
'He said that he has been briefed BY the government on more than one occasion as to the fact that the UFO phenomenon is real, that we (presumably the government) are in contact with extraterrestrials.'

This is the only thing about this that does make me wonder. At a guess either he's lying, or he exaggerating insanely, that they briefed him but not that UFOs are real - just that he shouldn't go around saying crazy sounding stuff as it makes them look bad.

I've seen two strange looking lights in the sky in my life, i think it would be a bit nuts to think they were aliens though (because there's never been any evidence that they exist).
- Also, the enormous scale of the universe and the unlikelihood of evolution reaching our point is so massive that i doubt anyone would have had time to reach us from such large distances ( and the light from here wouldn't have reached them yet either..)
I'm not doubting it fully, just 98%, this guy is a bit nuts so he's not a reliable source for this info. Telepathy indeed *rolls eyes* ...

Moon-walker Dr Edgar Mitchell Claims Alien Contact Cover-up
i understand what you mean but that's very hypothetical. we know psychic phenomena is all bunk, for instance James Randi would be out of pocket otherwise.
There's no evidence for any of these things.
It seems likely that there are other intelligent beings existing elsewhere, but i wouldn't trust this guy and there is no evidence so...

Quantum knowledge
it's an enjoyable watch, but a lot of the things that are said in it are just straight out false. Same with that pseudo-documentary-film 'The Secret'.
There are clips from 'What the Bleep Do We Know?!' in this montage which is a shame because it lowers the vids integrity - some of the clips are just flat out wrong.

Moon-walker Dr Edgar Mitchell Claims Alien Contact Cover-up
'Mitchell says that a teenage remote healer who lives in Vancouver and uses the pseudonym Adam Dreamhealer, helped him heal of kidney cancer at a distance.'

'During the Apollo 14 flight he conducted private ESP experiments with his friends on Earth.'

author of 'Psychic Exploration: A Challenge for Science'

obsessed with and believes in the paranormal, so basically he's a bit nuts and is not someone to rely on for information on such subjects.
